It is expected that child has at least beginner knowledge of
chess/ sudoko i.e. Must know rules of chess, and has played at home at beginner
level. We have a beginner rule book for parents to teach them. For level 1
students, first 2 sessions (p1 AND p2) AND 2 weeks preceding it will need
parents’ effort to jointly sit with child at home and teach/solve.
In case of specific request, separate sessions can be
organized using local tutors.
For Whom it is not intended:
Though as a side outcome of this program, the child will
become very good at chess (may even have a shot at 2000+ Elo ratings), but our
objective is not to prepare a professional Chess player. Hence our programs do
not focus on teaching Chess theories and manuals, but use the situations as
exercises.
