LEVEL 3 COURSE DETAILS


LEVEL 3
This is designed to inculcate to see the thought behind complex moves and how to reach that insight. Finally, one should develop the ability to size up scenarios, subjects and strategize an approach. The child will be ready to reach peaks in the choice of career/competitive exams.
Class duration: 2 to 2.5 hours each
No. of sessions: 24 (Estimated 28 weeks)

·         Session 1 (P3): Objective - Basic diagnostic of current level, Familiarity with study pattern (Submission/Analysis of Pre-assignment, Warm up test, Analysis of test). Student may be assigned Pre-level 3 course if needs more preparation.
·         Session 2 (M4): Learning to think till 4 to 5 nodes using beginner level multi-sub dimensions mixed problems
·         Session 3 (A20): Decision Tree and Calculations, Tool: Chess, Puzzles
·         Session 4 (A21): Logical Reasoning, Tools: Chess
·         Session 5 (A22): Logical Reasoning, Tools: Chess
·         Session 6 (A23): Logical Reasoning, Tools:  Puzzles,  Sudoku
·         Session 7 (A24): Spatial Relations, Pattern Recognition; Tools: Mainly chess, part puzzles
·         Session 8 (A25): Complexity, Intuitive Calls and decision making: Chess, Puzzles, Sudoku
·         Session 9 (A26): Creativity ; Tools: Chess, Puzzles
·         Session 10 (E8): Sacrifices for goal, Tradeoff between resources; Tools: Chess
·         Session 11 (E9): Illusions; Tools: Chess, Pattern puzzles
·         Session 12 (E10): Replacing Stress and Gain and loss Anxiety with Rationale; Tools: Chess
·         Session 13 (Q5): Mid-session diagnostic test
·         Session 14 (S10): Principles of strategy; Tools: Chess , Ref books
·         Session 15 (S11): Principles of strategy; Tools: Chess , Ref books
·         Session 16(S12): Principles of strategy; Tools: Puzzles (related to SAT, NTSE) etc.
·         Session 17 (S13): Situational Analysis; Tools: Chess, Scenario games

·         Session 19 (S15): Tactics; Tools Chess
·         Session 20 (S16): Tactics: Tools: Aptitude Puzzles (related to SAT, NTSE) etc.

·         Session 22 (T3):  Transference – Applying habits/thinking pattern across different topics
·         Session 23 (T4):  Transference – Applying habits/thinking pattern across different topics
·         Session 24 (Q6): Comprehensive tests/competition
