• This world is about out performers. Out performance DOES NOT mean competing with anyone. It means Finding what one loves, is good at, and then stretching her/his goals.
Outperformers come from all backgrounds; have
had common training and schooling and resources.
Yet, they do something which makes
them different. To be an outperformer, one has to grasp fast, focus on goals,
overcome thought biases, have mental toughness and be a universal learner. And
such mental progress happens in early years before 14 years of age.
5 to 14 years of age is very
critical to develop IQ, EQ and thinking patterns and habits. Once this is
missed, the catching up is very difficult for kids, despite best of tuitions,
coaching classes, and hard work.
Parents and kids undergo a lot of
stress and anxiety once the competitive levels start, without realizing what
was lacking in their approach. On the other hand, toppers seem to be doing it
with much less effort and stress. And the future opportunity gap between, say a top 400 in JEE versus a 4000 rank, or an AIIMS MBBS vs other, or an Ivy league Graduate/MBA vs others is very high.
It is all about how one stage after another is approached.
